Just Run

I’ve had a recent bout of inspiration.  In the form of my brothers.  My brother recently finished running the Chicago Marathon in the name of my youngest brother, who died when he was 14.  All the proceeds from this run went to the hospital that cared for Corey throughout his life.  I made the promise to my brother that I was going to run it with him next year.  That gives me 12 months to build up to being able to run 26.2 miles.  I want to say I can do it.

At any rate, I’m starting with a 5K run.  I just plan to use this page to track my progress and keep a log of what I’m doing.  And create for myself a sense of accountability.  So please, feel free to yell at me, cheer for me, or just make sure I haven’t fallen in a sewer while running.

Day 1.
